Hot Rod Ridge At Hot Rod Ridge we do primarily car restorations.

We can do everything including dismantling cars, completely sandblasting them, welding in patches and or replacement panels, through the body work and into a complete paint job with a show quality cut and buffed finish. One major advantage in bringing a restoration project to us is that we can usually negotiate an affordable biweekly budget to work at so the customer doesn't get hammered with an expensive bill or staggering cost all at once.

Hard to believe a 1970 Dart was one of my favorites to pass through the shop. Darts are admittedly no where’s near the top of my list, but something about this car resonated with me especially when the pink paint was on. It was a clean California car but the vinyl top destroyed the roof skin. The owner found a donor roof from another car and we were able to use the skin from that to save this one. In the early 1980s this owner of this 1968 GTO passed away not very long after acquiring it. Around a decade later one of his two brothers began restoring it but sadly, not long after he too passed away. Over twenty years later the last brother decided to finish what his late brothers had started and that’s where we came in. The car was delivered and I had expected there to be more of it but over the years all was lost but the body, panels, frame and a few trinkets. We stripped off more filler than I’d ever and still have ever seen on a car. We got the GTO onto our rotisserie and had to sandblasted. We replaced the quarters and patched rust in the floors cowl, frame etc. We undercoated the body with raptor liner and after rebuilding the frame got the car rolling again. We managed to track down all the missing goods and piece it back together. The owner delivered a rebuilt pontiac 400 that we installed along with a tremec 6 speed leaving options for engine and rear end upgrades in the future. What a treat to be part of finishing a 40 year project with such sentimental value. Tremec Performance
