We had a great weekend at the track with our Nova they call Stella and my firechicken 😜

First time running brackets, we didn't get a good run to determine times for the Trans Am due to one test pass and letting out as the other guy crossed into my labe but we guessed pretty decent but the other guy was closer...

As for the Nova, we made it to the third round of bracket class!! 😱 Unfortunately, I made the decision to change my time from 12.32 to 12:45 and I broke out with a 12:34 & would've only been off by .02 and would've went to the finals but there was no beating the yellow bad tweety as he was on point all night but a proven bracket car! 😕

All in all, a good time & a lot of learning! 💪🏼

Can't wait to do it next year & sponsor the PoHo Shootout again!

Shout out to Jake & Katie Schultz for coming through with our tent banner and the on the spot PoHo Shootout 2026 hat, Tyler Crockett for the save with welding up my rear differential cover to keep Stella in the bracket class 😎, Blain Brothers Racing for letting us borrow the grinder 💪🏼 Matt Jones for the gear oil, Stephen Brown n for use of the trailer, Mark Rowark for use of the ramps to load, Tony Schieweck as well as his son Joshua Schieweck for all the help advice & especially Joshua for all the help lining me up!! Austin Duckworth for the floor dry to clean my mess up changing rear diff cover, Dan Cook for pulling my nova to the track and helping load/unload and everything that came along with preparing, and a huge thanks Mike Mcnutt & Team w/Rich Pohlman for putting together yet another great event as always!!
