As expected, the "last 10%" takes 90% of the time, but we are making good progress. We've ended up with roughly 470 pounds of lead in the car (for a 170-pound driver) with well over 53% rear weight. Not too bad for building a car purposefully sturdy, with the frame rails at the maximum width to better protect drivers. We've been very meticulous about sourcing parts and hardware that fit the first time and can be purchased again with confidence. Can't wait for Nathan Quella Racing to get her broke in on the track!
