Nicolas knew what he wanted when he bought his 1970 Ford in 2024: a diesel-powered bumpside.

He put the truck together and handled the engine swap. His submission is brief, but the result is clear in the photographs: an old Ford he built around the drivetrain he wanted.

From machining down yokes for a custom coupler, to trimming water pump shafts and pulley flanges, Graham is doing the precision work to fit that big DT466 into his ’76. The mock block test showed only a 3”-4” firewall recess was needed — not bad for a swap this wild.

Walter went looking for a Ford with an eight-foot bed and bought his 1967 truck in 2025. Getting it home was the first job it gave him.

He collected it in a severe rainstorm. Walter says its condition was much worse than the seller had described. It kept stalling, the steering was loose and the defroster did not work.

David remembers hunting, fishing, and camping trips crammed shoulder-to-shoulder on the bench seat with his dad, brother, and uncle — legs tucked tight to avoid the gear shifter. Spot a deer, and it was pure comedy: everyone rolling out with ri**es, trying to get a shot off.

Triston bought his 1976 Ford in 2025. Asked what kind of truck he wanted, his answer was simple: this exact one.

His first story is a Christmas Eve rescue that did not quite go to plan. In 2025, he got his bike stuck in a river. He brought the Ford in to pull it out, then got the truck stuck too.
