Last Saturday marked the end of an era with our final ever autocross event, The Autumn Apex 4.0!

In the Non Muscle Car Class, Jeff Bakken continued his dominance in his Acura NSX, putting down the fastest time of the day and taking home both the class win and the overall win one final time!

In the American Muscle Class, Jose Arroyo was fast as always in his C6 Z06, securing his second win of the saeason!

All of us at Gorman Performance Engineering want to give a huge thank you to every participant who has helped make our events some of the best around over the past four years. From the incredible cars to the competition and the community that came together at every event, we couldn't have done it without you.

It's been an awesome four years, and we're grateful to everyone who has been a part of the journey. Thank you for making it something special!

He's the most dominant driver in the history of our events. He went out and raced a family sedan in order to give others a little glimmer of hope. He swept the entire 2025 season. Now for our last ever (not last of the year.....last ever) autocross, he's back in the hot seat one final time.

Want to see what you're up against? Go watch him compete at the Lime Rock Autocross Invitational Shootout on the 10th, and then come try to claim his throne at the Autumn Apex 4.0.

After years of bringing the community together at the track, we’re ready to announce the final two GPE Racing Events.

On October 16th, we’ll kick things off with the Fall Finale, followed by Autumn Apex 4.0 on October 17th.

These will be the last two racing events we host under the GPE banner, and we want to finish our racing events the same way we started them: with cool cars, great people, and a fun day of racing at Lime Rock Park!

If you’ve raced with us before, come out for one last event. If you’ve been meaning to make it to one, this is your last chance!

This 6th Gen Camaro SS 1LE time attack car was recently brought to us for a full MCS coilover setup, camber plate install, wheel studs, a new square bridgestone RE71RZ setup, and some other small track mods, as well as one of our full competition setups. Last friday marked the Summer Shootout 1.0, our first ever "hotlap challenge" event. 19 cars took to the FCP Euro Proving Grounds Super Circuit, and when it was all said and done, Jeff Bakken laid down a blisteringly fast time of 41.422 to take the overall win and $1000 cash, with Andrew Hiro taking home 2nd place with a 41.859 and Josh Lipman in 3rd with a 41.959 (all on 200TW street tires).

In addition to our competition, we also had a session dedicated to qualifying for the Lime Rock Top 30 Autocross Invitational Shootout, where as it stands, we had 7 cars break into the top 30 standings, including 3 new top 5 overall times set.

Another C6 Z06 has rolled into GPE to get track ready!
