25 YEARS OF GT TRANSMISSIONS!!! 🎉❤️

On October 25, 2001, our dad opened the doors to GT Transmissions. Here we are 25 YEARS later!!

A lot has changed since then. We've had our ups and downs, met some incredible people, learned a whole lot, and probably questioned our sanity more times than we'd like to admit. 😂

When we lost Dad in 2021, Matt and I had some pretty big shoes to fill. Taking over the business he spent 20 years building wasn't easy, and there have definitely been some challenges along the way. But here we are, five years later, still doing what he taught us and carrying on what he started. ❤️

We're so lucky to have the team we do, customers who've been coming to us for years, and so many other repair shops that have trusted us with their transmission work, some since Dad first opened the doors.

We've also got something pretty special coming up! A feature celebrating our 25th anniversary! So here's a little behind-the-scenes look at our attempts to get some decent pictures for it 😂, along with a few memories of the guy who started it all. ❤️

I wish Dad could be here to celebrate this milestone with us. I know he'd be proud of how far we've come, and I couldn't be prouder of what Matt and I have accomplished together.

GT Transmissions has been nominated for Best Transmission Shop on Long Island for the THIRD year in a row! 🎉

After winning in 2025 and 2026, we’re back on the ballot for 2027 and ready to go for three in a row!
