Day 2 of the Cherry Lake Route

Jesus Maria was top tier, hit rain on Hwy 89 near Markleeville, and the lakes on Hwy 4 were incredible.

Day 1 of the Cherry Lake Route is complete. Some of the best Low Sierras scenery I could have ever imagined.

The riding itself was a fun experience. Two One-And-Dones for me we're Priest Grade Hwy 120 which is just a traffic mess enough to where Todd's bike hit 240F, and the Northern route from Cherry Lake into town just being an absolute turd of a "road" with bumps, jitters, and nasty potholes.

Right before Sonora, there's an ending stretch of road that reminded me of Cecilville Station "The Racetrack" that I could do laps on indefinitely and never get bored.

Booking all of this to stay in Murphys was a treat. Great room, good food in town, town itself is incredible, and couldn't be happier.

Time for a 3-Day Reset after a hectic weekend riding the edge of burnout.

This is what happens when you take the time to calculate a perfect turbo combination.

Custom HE351cw 6367 and Custom S476SX-E matched to bring in boost earlier than stock HE351cw 6058 and twice the powerband width.

Slowly breaking things in over the next 200mi with hot retorques along the way, keeping boost under 40psi total, and throttle under 30%.

Absolute insanity.

Compound the World.

There are some revisions I'm taking the time to make here while compound turboing this truck:

Cutting off the braised bracket for the Transmission Fill Tube and hose clamping it onto the new Pusher Unit ✅

Trimming Downpipe for better fitment than shown in their installations and instructions ✅

AC Lines with Heatshielding Wrap ✅

Make the Banks Airbox and Superscoop Work for the Custom S476SX-E ✅

Measure for 1 Piece Aluminum 0.125" Wall 5" Driveshaft ✅

Contemplating an Inline 4" Vacuum Assisted Exhaust Brake between the two downpipe sections. The downside of this is the further the exhaust brake is from the turbine wheel, the less effective it is. Which is another reason why VGT turbos are so superior at that specific functionality.

This has been a pipe dream of mine for a long, long time and for my birthday this year, I pulled the trigger on Pusher Intakes Compound Turbo setup.

For the turbos, I have a custom BorgWarner S476SX-E 1.15 A/R T6 with Xona UHP Turbine Wheel and custom HE351cw based 6367.

With this fueling, we should be right at the 750whp/1500wtq sweet spot for towing reliability with exceptionally broad powerband ~1500-3750 RPM.

I'm staging the Primary Turbo relatively early ~20-25psi which I feel will benefit towing efforts at high altitude.
