Not the weekend we were hoping for. Ran into a few issues with the car—nothing major, but enough to call it early. Managed to get a couple clips before packing it up, so here are some VRT noises.

First comp of the season this past weekend and it was a blast. Had a couple issues with the car, but still made it into the show. Ended up going out round 1, but overall stoked with how the car did and excited for the next event! Full run down coming later this week.

3.6 VR-86 debut was a success for the most part
Have to chase down a couple oil leaks and deal with a broken axle, but that’s all part of getting it sorted.

Power is there, the car feels great, and it’s looking ready for the first comp on the 15th

Got the first test hits in on the 3.6 VR6—finally dialing in the tune and getting ready for some shakedown laps at the track.

3.6 VR in the ‘86 finally runs

Couple small things to sort out—chasing a vacuum leak and a few coolant drips—but it’s close. Plan is to get it out for a first drive and start dialing in the tune this week.
