Had to keep the lower body line straight so I had no choice but to rework the top of the quarter panel and lower it to match the door. Not quite done yet but the scary part is over.

The hood hinges that came with my stinger hood were aftermarket and were hindering hood alignment so I cleaned up my original ones, and the hood latch in the blast cabinet.

Had my first visit with the almost complete big block a few weeks ago to check head bolt clearance with headers.

Need more crappy weekends like this so I'm motivated to work on the Chevelle. Did a little gap work on the trunk. Next will be assembly of the front end and gapping everything. Then the body will come back off the frame and go back on the rotisserie for weld cleanups underneath then strip roof and doors, sand down all the epoxy primer, re epoxy, bodywork then prime and start block sanding.

Well that was fun...spend half the day getting Dan's new bars installed on his Indian Challenger only to get the dash light up like a Christmas tree and no start! After some troubleshooting, I suspected an issue with the "pre installed wiring" designed to save time. Turns out they installed wiring for wrong year bike. I then had to remove that wiring, remove the original wiring from the original bars, and install that into the new bars and then essentially do the whole job over again.
