Manufacturing Monday | Meet Kayla

This week we’re recognizing Kayla, who is celebrating 20 years with Springfield Coach Group.

Kayla started her career here as a parts runner. Through hard work, dedication, and mentorship from Jodi, she learned the accounting side of the business and eventually stepped into Jodi’s role after her passing. Her loyalty, willingness to learn, and commitment to our team have made her an invaluable part of SCG for the past two decades.

Q: You’ve been with SCG for 20 years. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
A: “Never stop learning. Every opportunity to learn something new has helped me grow, and you never know where it might lead.”

Q: What keeps you motivated after all these years?
A: “The people. We’ve become like family, and it’s rewarding to be part of a team that takes pride in what we build and how we serve our customers.”

Q: What’s your favorite part about coming to work each day?
A: “Knowing I’m part of something bigger. It’s rewarding to see each vehicle leave the shop knowing I played a small part in helping make it happen.”
