Fresh traffic paint is a lot cheaper to avoid than it is to remove.

This near-new Tundra came in the same day it happened — and even then, the paint had already started curing.

If this happens to you, call us immediately. This is not a “deal with it later” problem.

The longer it sits, the harder it becomes to remove, and the more likely sensitive materials like textured plastics and PPF are to be affected during the removal process.

That’s why a job like this can quickly become a $1,000 remedy, with plastic restoration or PPF replacement potentially needed as part of the original quote.

The good news?

We know how to handle it.

Fresh road paint is free to avoid. Proper removal definitely isn’t.

This 2006 Corvette originally came in for a detail.

But once we got into it, the conversation changed.

The client wanted more than routine care — he wanted longer-term preservation for his prized possession.

So I sent him home with a recommendation:

Multi-stage buffing to improve the condition of the paint, followed by ceramic coating to help preserve and protect that finish moving forward.

He came back that same day and said he wanted it coated.

That says a lot to me.

Sometimes the right service isn’t the one someone originally came in asking for. Sometimes it’s about looking at the vehicle, understanding what matters to the owner, and giving them the recommendation you’d want if it were your own.

Why G-MAX is our Preferred Ceramic Coating

Our preferred coating is Technician’s Choice G-MAX Graphene Coating — a professional coating we’ve tested, used, and trust enough to back with our own RAG’s warranty.

Ceramic coatings still need maintenance. Real vehicles see salt, contamination, weather, repairs, and daily use, so we’d rather monitor the coating over time than sell you on a huge number printed on a warranty.

Maintain it with us monthly or quarterly and we keep an eye on performance. If we see an issue, we address it. If a coated panel is repaired or replaced after an accident, we reapply the coating to that area under our warranty.

But our recommendation is still your choice.

If you only want a wash and protection even though we recommend polishing, we’ll do the wash and protection.

Just understand that washing and sealing won’t remove oxidation, swirls, haze or scratches. Different concerns require different work.

That’s the responsibility that comes with having more control over your detail:

We’re not going to force you into a huge package because one part of your vehicle needs extra attention.
