We got the Thunder Bomber engine out and tore apart this week and we found some major destruction. Luckily we did end up with some salvageable parts and I’m gonna have Micheal at Rouse Racing Engines put together a fresh bottom end with the best parts we can so we won’t have any worries in the future.

Sometimes having hard luck is a blessing in disguise.

Tore the Thunder Bomber motor down this evening and found some big issues. Broke a couple rods and found a 3 piece camshaft. Luckily the I still have a topend to work with. Don’t think the heads were hurt. Next stop will be Rouse Racing Engines to see the doctor.

As most know we lost a motor this past weekend at Sumter Speedway in the Thunder Bomber. Currently seeking any sponsors and marketing partners to get an engine put back together. This is the car that we had planned to take to The Dirt Track at Charlotte in October for the World Short Track Championship race.

I spoke with my engine builder today and have a worse case scenario price. Hopefully some of the engine parts in the car are salvageable. Pulling motor out sometime this week to tear down.

We went back to Sumter Speedway with the Thunder Bomber and we brought a view friends along with us. We had a decent qualifying effort which put us sitting a good spot for the feature. Had some rain come try to take the show but the track was able to hang on and get the show in.

Unfortunately we only made a lap and a half in the feature. Our night ended early with the engine expiring and leaving us with a couple holes in the oil pan. We will get out and tore down and build it back better than it was. Had a great time at the track and appreciate the added crew of the Gasque family!
