We had a busy week to get the Stock v8 and the Barry Wright Icon 602 late model ready for action at Lake View Motor Speedway. Unfortunately Lake View cancelled the race for the weekend after subpar track conditions during Friday nights open practice. Thankful for the call the track made while keeping in mind us racers want to race but the drivers safety comes first.

We didn’t let that stop us though. Mr. Mike, Rocky and I spent Saturday morning converting the Stock v8 back over to a Thunder Bomber and the Lake View Crew headed south to Sumter Speedway to get a race in. Had an awesome time at the track as Sumter is one of our local favorites. And we ended up finishing 2nd with some major issues.
