Delilah is one of the newest arrivals at Lake of the Woods Humane Society. She is still a puppy, and sweet as pie! She is good with other dogs. She wasn’t receiving the care she needed, but as you can see, this has not gotten her down!
Delilah needs a home that will interact and train her, and she will not only thrive but make the very best friend!

Please apply with the humane society for her adoption. Please remember they don’t necessarily take the first application they receive, they take the best fit for the dog.

Our ‘Fill the TowBoat’ charity Drive for the LOW Humane Society runs until the 31st! You can drop off donations daily at Pet Pantry and Supply and Miles Lab Bar & Grill

Your donations go to supporting the wonderful volunteers at the Humane Society in rescuing, caring for and finding forever homes for these wonderful animals ❤️🐾🐈‍⬛🐶🦴❤️

Your donations go to help the Lake of the Woods Humane Society care for rescues like Tiny.
Tiny is the last of five kittens to be adopted. They came in at two weeks old and In my humble opinion Tiny is incredibly special.
She acts more like a dog than a cat, she loves to give kisses, cuddle and play. She is rambunctious and adorable with a great personality!

You can apply to adopt her with the Humane Society, please remember that they choose the best fit for Tiny, not just the first application.

You can help us fill the Tobo with supplies. The Humane Society needs by dropping off donations. Pet Pantry and Supply and Miles Lab Bar & Grill till the 31st!

Thank you for your support

Another safe ungrounding! Those pesky sandbars are causing trouble with our lower-than-usual water levels! Soft ungroundings are our most expensive Non-member calls due to hourly Boat & Captain rates, plus the per-foot ungrounding fee. This is because the frequent need for extra crew, increased safety risks, and our own potential prop damage.
Here’s the good news: TowBoatU.S. membership covers soft ungroundings! 🙌

When Things Go Wrong, Call the Professionals. Four people were onboard when this boat capsized. Thankfully, a nearby boater got everyone safely back to shore. 🛟
Strong winds quickly carried the boat across the lake, where it was eventually found upside down, in the shallows and hung up in the sand.
The owner located it and called us in.
Captain Doug went to work—flipped it, dewatered it, and recovered it safely. 🚤
Boat recovery takes the right equipment, experience, and technique to avoid creating more damage or putting people—or another boat—at risk.
We're insured professionals, and when things go wrong on the water, we're here to help. 🛟
