What better way to celebrate a milestone birthday than surrounded by classic cars? 🏁🎉

The Jack Frost Museum was honored to be chosen as the setting for a very special surprise birthday party this weekend! The birthday boy is a fan of Ford Mustangs, and from there, the theme took off with checkered flags, Route 60 details, vintage automotive touches, and plenty of classic-car personality.

Another awesome part about this party was that almost everyone attending the party had never been to the museum before, so we got to make a bunch of new friends, show off the museum and grounds, and share our love for this amazing hidden gem. We can’t wait for them all to come back!

And because Mother Nature clearly understood the assignment, it was an absolutely beautiful Michigan fall day. 🍁☀️ Classic car rides around the property were the perfect finishing touch to an already memorable celebration.

We loved seeing our space transformed for such a fun occasion and were so super excited to be part of the surprise. Thank you for including us!

Happy 60th Birthday, John! Here’s to many more miles, memories, and reasons to keep cruising. ❤️🏎️

When you hear a lot of yelling and grunting outside, look out the window, and see this… 😂

Just another normal day around here.

With cars waiting on parts, approvals, or their turn in the shop, there’s a whole lot of shuffling that happens behind the scenes so we can move the next one in to be worked on.

Sometimes they get driven, sometimes pulled… and sometimes it’s all hands on deck to push.

Glamorous? Not exactly.

Real life at the shop? Absolutely.

Proud to work with a team that’s always willing to lend a hand to push, because that’s what teamwork is all about. ❤️

Fall Festival: The Evidence, Final Chapter. 🚜🌲👻

And finally…

Into the woods we go.

The Fall Festival hayride wound through the old Frost Farms orchard, where perfectly normal autumn scenery had been lovingly transformed into something slightly less normal.

There were lights.

There were creatures.

There were graves.

There were strange things lurking among the trees.

And somewhere beneath all of it were probably still a few remnants of the wedding in the woods that we never found after the wedding.

At this point, they’re part of the ecosystem.

The hayride may have looked peaceful from a distance.

The photographs suggest otherwise.

Thank you to everyone who climbed aboard, ventured into the orchard and trusted us when we said:

“Sure. Get on this wagon. We’re going into the dark woods.”

An objectively questionable decision.

And with that, our Fall Festival: The Evidence photo tour comes to an end.

Fall Festival: The Evidence, Part Six. 🍽️🍻❤️

Now we arrive at one of the most important elements of any successful event:

The eating portion of the evening.

Chef Paul fed us.
Tombstone kept glasses filled.
Friends gathered around tables.
New friends were made.
Old friends caught up.

And somewhere in all of this, we once again confirmed our long-held belief that food tastes approximately 37% better when eaten outside on a fall evening with people you like.

Science.

Probably.

These photos might not be the loudest ones from Fall Festival, but they may be some of our favorites.

Because THIS is the part we want more of at Jack Frost Museum.

People gathering.
People lingering.
People laughing.
People making memories here.

Also people going back for seconds.

We strongly support that.

Fall Festival: The Evidence, Part Five. 🚘🍂

Apparently one car post was wildly insufficient.

So welcome to:

CARS, PART II.

Because when this many beautiful cars show up at Jack Frost Museum, you don’t shove them all into one photo album and call it a day.

Some came polished to perfection.

Some brought serious attitude.

Some looked especially good under the fall trees.

And a few probably spent the entire evening silently judging whatever we drove there in.

Fair.

This is exactly why we love seeing the property filled with collector cars. Every row becomes its own little car show, and every time you turn around, there’s something else worth stopping to look at.

So here’s another round of Fall Festival favorites.
