My dad, Don, passed away 12/21. I wasn't ready, but it was time. This is the man that taught me so much about cars and encouraged my passion for the classics and oddball stuff. He supported Rust Revivals, my dreams, and was proud of me.

We need some help raising money for his funeral.

His service will be 1/25 at 2pm at Thomas Funeral Home in Fuquay Varina. We are receiving friends at 1pm.

There’s just something really nice about a freshly painted engine. I like the call back to the HiPo 289. This little 308 is going to be fun in the ‘64 Comet! Cleaned up the block and heads, hit them with some primer. Gave them a little heat gun love since it’s so humid, and then laid on the gloss black. The M/T valve covers were painted a few years ago. The Edelbrock F4B looks just right!

What’s there to say. It’s a Chevy. Gas, air spark… it’s going to run. And the engine does run well. Driver side door sags, the seat looks like a goat gnawed. The headliner is “there”, but have replacement.

First $2000 gets it.
