Their mission of providing reliable transportation to individuals and families in need opens doors to employment, independence, and new opportunities. We’re honored to provide space for donated vehicles and play a small role in helping them continue making a lasting impact throughout our community. Thank you for the kind words and for everything you do.

As we close one chapter and begin another, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bramati family for generously providing parking lot space for Second Chances Garage over the past year.

As our organization continues to grow, finding space for donated vehicles, program cars, and inventory has become increasingly important. Bramati’s support helped us continue serving our community and creating transportation solutions for individuals and families working toward stability and independence.

We are also excited to welcome Oakmont Towing & Recovery as our new parking partner. Their willingness to provide space for our vehicles will help us continue accepting donations and moving cars through our programs efficiently.

A little different than our usual day.

This beautiful 1972 Volkswagen Beetle got a first class ride from Westminster to Frederick. Classic cars require extra care, and we’re proud to be trusted with vehicles that mean so much to their owners.

We want to thank everyone who submitted nominations for our family giveaway.

The response was overwhelming, and reading through the stories was a reminder of just how many families in our community are facing difficult times.

A family has been selected and notified. Out of respect for their privacy, we will not be sharing their name or personal situation publicly. This was never about recognition. It was about helping someone who needed it.

To everyone who took the time to nominate a family, thank you.

One thing became very clear through this process: there are a lot of people in our community who could use a helping hand. Because of that, this won’t be the last time we do something like this.

We’re already discussing more ways that Oakmont Towing & Recovery can give back and help local families in the future.

Over the past year, our community has supported us in ways we never could have imagined. Because of that support, we want to give back and help a family that is going through a difficult time.

This is something that is very personal to me.

I was raised by a single mother of four who gave us everything she had, even when there wasn’t much to give. I’ve experienced homelessness, eviction, nights without power, and times when food was hard to come by. Those experiences never leave you, and they teach you to appreciate every opportunity and every person who helps you along the way.

Oakmont Towing & Recovery wasn’t handed to me. It was built from the ground up through hard work, sacrifice, and a refusal to quit. Because of that journey, I’ll never forget where I came from.

I know what it’s like to be the family that’s struggling. I know what it’s like to need a break.

That’s why we’re accepting nominations for a local family in need. Oakmont Towing & Recovery will be providing a $1,000 donation to a deserving family right here in our community.

If you know a family facing hardship, please send us a private message with their story. All nominations will be kept confidential.

And this is just the beginning.

We’re also excited to announce that Oakmont Towing & Recovery and Second Chance Garage will soon be partnering to sponsor a vehicle for a deserving family in need. More details will be announced soon.

This community helped build Oakmont Towing & Recovery. Now it’s our turn to help someone else.
