Happy Fathers Day to all the great fathers out their but we want to wish an extra special one to our own superman. When you grow up as a boy dad is just another word for Superman it’s like an unspoken rule in boyhood. Can’t fix your bike? You call dad. Can’t figure out a problem? You call dad. Don’t know how to tie a tie for your first big dance with your first crush? Dad is always there to guide you through the learning curves and show you the way through anything no matter how hard it seems and that’s what makes them Superman to you. BUT if you are fortunate enough and your dad really IS Superman the world gets to tell you stories your entire life about how Bad ass your dad is, the crazy stuff he’s owned and all the crazy jobs he completed in years gone by it really instills the Superman feeling in you. And then if you get REALLY lucky you get to add some to those crazy stories years later and bring a piece of them back home (even if it is 2470 miles away), then strangers come to you from all over with even more stories and someone actually writes articles about your dad and a piece of family history ends up on a magazine cover making the wildest kid dreams that dad always taught you to believe in come true. Riley Green spoke the truest words in the world “They dont make em like that no more” you’ve instilled the true definition of hard work in all of us and taught us everyday there is no such word as can’t it’s how hard are you willing to work for it and let’s not forget the most important one you learn as you get older that last names mean something. Thank you for always teaching us the hardest way possible first (really builds character), yelling louder when we didn’t understand it the first time ( also builds character), and teaching us that there is no limit to what you can do if you work your ass off every day. The years may pass but your words of wisdom you’ve instilled in all of us Friends, Family and even strangers off the street stand the test of time every day and we love you to no end I hope you’re proud of the kids you raised and the additions we’ve added to your legacy Happy Fathers Day Superman💛
