Golf 6r project
New issue unlocked😂

Behavior:

1. Car starts and drives fine
2. Epc light, no acceleration response
3. Hard start then epc light and engine light
4. Cranks only no start
5. Starts and shut off on it’s own

Findings:

>High pressure fuel pump regulator no response
>Low pressure fuel regulation outside specification “intermittent
>Fuel pressure regulator valve open circuit “intermittent
>Low pressure fuel pump losing pressure currently at 1 bar

Remedy:

Not yet done with fault finding

Culprits:
1. Faulty hpfp regulator
2. Faulty water damaged ecu, wiring or module
3. Faulty new lpfp or control module

Broken spark plug:
Did you know that a simple spark plug can cause a catastrophic engine failure‼️

Possible damage:
cylinder walls, pistons and valves

Advise:
If you hear any strange or unusual ticking, rattling noise from your engine, have it checked out asap before the damage gets worse🤝

Findings:
This 1NR has been driving with a failed broken spark plug causing damage leading to mild ticking noise

Remedy:
Engine has to be stripped to inspect the damage.

Job approval:
Not approved by the owner🤝
