The newest member of the Guvner Motorsport Team Rikardo Jardine in is his pristine Audi S3 8V made his debut in MSA Drag Racing this weekend at Aldo Scribante Raceway.
We set a target of low 12 second ¼ mile passes for the day and Rikardo piloted the S3 to a 12.4 second pass in his shakedown pass and backed it up with a another 12.4, 12.3 and 12.2 second pass.
We then made a few setup changes and swapped the Pirelli rubber to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber also in 18 inch and the car ran a 12.076 quarter mile @181.5km/h with a 1.806 second 60 foot.
This car is basically stock with just a downpipe and exhaust system in full street trim , loaded with on the best CPI Performance Innovation Stage 2 ECU and TCU software.
Congratulations!! Rikardo on a perfect debut to MSA sanctioned drag racing and piloting the car to a Class win for the day.
Well done!! We look forward to the journey of putting this car in full street trim into the sought after 10 second bracket.
