We Are Hiring: CNC Machine Operator | AWP
📍 Sharjah, UAE | Company: AWP FZC

AWP is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines, with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathe and milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure machining accuracy.
- Ensure machined components meet specified dimensions and quality requirements.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- UAE experience preferred
- Immediate joiners preferred

We're Hiring: Wearparts Sales Engineer | AWP
📍Sharjah, UAE | Reporting to: Sales Manager | Immediate joining

AWP is looking for a Wearparts Sales Engineer to develop the market and grow the Hardox Wearparts business in the region, including new segments, applications and upgrades to more advanced materials.

Key Responsibilities;
- Develop strategy to increase end-user reach and grow the Hardox Wearparts business
- Hold several customer meetings per week, with follow-up, reporting and planning
- Visit end-user sites and deliver technical training to customers
- Identify marketing opportunities and upgrade projects
- Prepare accurate reports and coordinate requirements with customers and internal teams
- Deliver presentations to colleagues and external customers

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Mining Engineerin
- Sales and estimating experience in a subcontract manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of laser cutting, press braking, machining, welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and work to complex engineering drawings
- Experience in wear solutions offerings in the aftermarket
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 4 days per week
* 4+ years of experience in an end-user segment (mining, cement, etc.) and in an international company
- UAE-based candidates preferred.

AWP is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our general engineering and subcontract manufacturing business across the UAE and export markets.
The role will focus on developing new customers and opportunities for heavy fabrication, CNC machining, engineered components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop new business across industrial, OEM and engineering sectors
• Identify opportunities for heavy fabrication, CNC machining and subcontract manufacturing
• Build relationships with engineering, procurement and operational decision-makers
• Review customer drawings and requirements and work with Estimation and Engineering to prepare quotations
• Convert enquiries into repeat business and long-term customer relationships
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasts and key customer accounts

What We’re Looking For
• Strong B2B sales/business development experience in heavy engineering, fabrication and CNC machining
• Proven track record of winning industrial customers in the UAE
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, materials, machining and fabrication processes
• Strong commercial understanding of pricing, margins and contract requirements
• Established UAE industrial network would be a strong advantage
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel

Both have been with the business for more than a decade, and their appointments recognise their contribution to the company’s growth while strengthening commercial and technical leadership at Director level.

The exhibition highlighted evolving industry trends, advanced machinery and equipment, and the increasing demand for reliable wear solutions and specialised fabrication for challenging operating environments.
