The park is located within short 10 minute walk to the centre of the rural city of Ararat. It is an ideal base to explore the wide variety of regional attractions and is the gateway to the Grampians National Park.

There’s a reason so many guests extend their stay once they arrive. Start the day with breakfast in town and a wander through the beautiful Alexandra Gardens. If you're keen to uncover some local history, J Ward and Aradale are both well worth a visit, while One Tree Hill is the perfect spot to catch a sunset over the region. Plus we're centrally located to exploring the Grampians, wineries and Hall Gap. Before you know it, a few days in Ararat have filled themselves pretty easily!

Blue bird of happiness!
It’s the weekend and a (not so) little bird tells us that Maroona Hotel is the place to be!
