few more bits and pieces done, tub finished except for the tailgate, panel below the grill made , most of the floor made, 5” column drop made , gearbox cross membe/ mount made, fuel tank mocked up , modified the original firewall by sinking it back into the cowl 3” and filled all the holes etc and started fixing the poorly repaired cowl vent delete, luckily I had a spare cowl vent out of something that fit the profile of the cowl perfectly so started making a new panel to fit that in

The 32 ford pickup came back in this week for round 2 , if you haven’t seen round 1 it was a couple years back that I started it for the customer and built the chassis, steeled out and mounted the body ,guards , grill etc chopped the roof and took some loaf out of the roof cap itself , rounded top front corners of the doors like the American cabs and a few other bits
So far this time I have mounted the hemi , finished mounting the front end , welded up some holes in the roof skin and got most of the tub made , starting to look like a car and a cool one at that!

Well that’s about it for this round, very happy with how much I got done this time, doors fought me all the way but finally both opening and closing, still need to fine tune the gaps but almost there, lots more steel framework in the body done, lower back corner swages in, wheel tubs made and fitted, spent a couple days on the power hammer making a roof skin inert but think it still needs a lil more crown in it yet, 34 dash modified and fitted, rear window outer frame made and fitted and made the inner section to be a wined up and made a rust repair section for the top of the front windscreen, body is now rust free, also repaired passenger side rear guard
Getting much closer to being a car again and the daughter aprooves so that’s a win!
Unfortunately this will probably be the last post for a while due to the new social media bans which I don’t plan on conforming to so if you want to get any honest ,affordable, punctual, quality work done please contact me on my phone, thank you all , take care and have a wonderful Christmas and New Year 👍

Made a boot lid , put the gutter in and hinges an handle so it opens and closes and a few other lil bits n pieces, still lots to go but chipping away at it

Had to have last week off to go away with the army cadets but been back in to it this week, got the rest of the interior pretty much done, roof lining looks pretty flat in the pics but it definitely isn’t, it’s got a fair bit of shape to it and not an easy piece to make to get it to fit neat and then add the Dimond pleat pattern but got it done , also decked the boot out to match, lot of work but worth it , looks great
