Congratulations Nevaeh. Having turned 18 a little while ago but just never really feeling comfortable driving, we first met about three months ago to do your first driving lesson with me even though you'd had some instruction before with other people. You instantly felt more at ease which then saw you driving so much more comfortably and we covered off the things about driving that made you nervous. Soon you were feeling so comfortable that we booked a test date and worked towards it. With just a couple more lessons leading up to the day, we met to make it happen! Getting you confident with both the reverse parallel park and three point turn was all new to you and not often used in the small country centre where you're based. All that practice paid off with a brilliant, safe, controlled drive around Pakenham for your test. Nerves, what nerves..?

Congratulations, Tahlia! Doing your test on the Monday after your birthday on Friday so you have a great stressfree weekend living life to the full. I was recommended to you after helping out your cousin sometime ago, and we did a couple of lessons to get you going and then you soon were racking up the hours. We put you in driving situations all over Melbourne making sure you knew how to handle and be safe amongst other road users. This was proven again today on your test as you confidently drove around the test areas keeping us safe and completing that three point turn as directed by the tester. You did choose a pretty difficult driveway to do this and the nerves started to creep back in but after you completed this and moved on, the rest of the test started to feel a bit easier. Your speed was good. Your observations were great. There wasn't any feedback on this at the end of the test, just a smile from the tester who wished you congratulations. Same for me!

Congratulations Ollie!
We certainly were on a tight timeline. We had time for just two quick lessons after school and another in the lead up to your test day today but you already seemed to have a pretty good understanding of what you were doing. I gave you some tips to improve a few things and make driving feel a whole lot easier, and we also learned how to reverse parallel park like a professional. On your test you delivered your best reverse parallel park we've ever done and the timing simply couldn't be better. The rest of your drive on this cold Melbourne winter's day was pretty much faultless, even safely negotiating around kids on scooters and people out for the school holidays. The tester suggested that perhaps you could do a better job of your head checks but you still did them and know what to do

Quite a few City Drive Experiences completed this year already which have been great fun. Each time we head into and around the inner city suburbs and have the students park the car so we can grab a coffee or a snack. At the moment Brunetti's is fully set up for World Cup action. Giant TV screen, plenty of soccer memorabilia and even some World Cup statues on display (weren't there a couple of these stolen one year?)

Well done Tom! In your own manual car after getting a few test preparations lessons. You had covered off nearly 400 hours in an automatic driving up and back to Bonnie Doon and Howqua over your learning hours. All of it in an automatic. So you decided to buy a manual vehicle! I helped get you comfortable with your clutch and with a few tips and pointers, and with even more driving practice with mum and dad, here we are at test day! I explained what was going to happen on test day, and the morning of, we did another drive around to get you calm and ready. You were so surprised how comfortable you were for the test. Even though you had both a tester and trainee in your car for the drive (an instructor cannot go with you when you use your own car). It's sure going to make life easier to get to training now you can do it all on your own. Congratulations and Happy Birthday Tom!

Congratulations on passing your test Char! I first met you when you started driving doing some lessons to get you calm and ready to tackle everything that's on the road. Over time we did some check-in some lessons here and there to make sure everything felt ok and we got back together leading up to your test day. We worked on that reverse parallel park to make sure that it was your preferred choice and we also put you in so many different driving scenarios that we thought you'd seen it all. Today on the test we had one of the most courteous drivers give you so much space to change lanes but with the stress of the day we weren't sure if we should take it and we waited till after they moved past us. Perhaps it was the fact there were two testers in the back of the car today! The test itself was over pretty quick smart and you were surprised how fast the time went. Congratulations Char!

Well Done Jack! Picking up exactly where our lessons left off doing a comfortable controlled safe drive to pass your test today. You were worried about the reverse parallel park today so in our lesson prior to your test I made you do a couple of them to feel more comfortable and when the tester asked for one today you delivered what was probably your best one ever. What was all that worry about?? The rest of your test flew by pretty quickly as you drove us around the test route as instructed by the tester. It was pretty hard to fault the rest of your drive getting us back to VicRoads in under 25 minutes. The nervous were there when we started, but they certainly dissipated by the end, but you know, who plans a drive test on their birthday anyway!?!? You're in for a weekend of great fun with your mates and family. I hope having your licence makes it easier.

Congratulations on a successful test pass Maddie. Leading up to today we had a couple of lessons in preparation making sure you were comfortable with both your three-point turn and the reverse parallel park and a few other of the little technical things they look for on the test. I also think I answered about 1 million questions just to make sure that you were clear in your mind about many things, and I loved that! There were some nerves about the day but having our lesson immediately before the test certainly helped and had you feeling well prepared. You had the reverse parallel park well and truly under control and when asked for one today, you did a terrific job, then the rest of your test was smooth and comfortable as you were directed by the tester. The drive itself you were so surprised it only took you about 24 minutes. No rush taking your time making it feel as comfortable as possible.

Congratulations Gabi! We came together after mum put a call out on social media looking for a driving instructor. We had our first lesson and you learned a few tips and tricks to make driving easier, and then we set the test date and worked towards it. We had some practice in all different conditions making sure you were familiar with my car and feeling comfortable to do the test. You became so well rehearsed for the reverse parallel park that when they asked you to demonstrate one today I think it was the best one you've done. Fantastic! Continuing to drive around the test area on roads we've never been on before, you looked at ease and comfortable. We even managed to get our test done before the heavens opened and it then rained all afternoon.

Congratulations Lila! Sometime ago you thought you wouldn't need your licence when you turned 18 and you'd be okay just the way things were. But soon sfter turning 18 something changed and suddenly it ranked a bit higher on your list of things to do so you gave it a real go to get all those hours up as soon as you could and here we are about a month later. I first helped out a while ago and over the last month we've had a couple of lessons here and there to help make sure that you're meeting the test standards and driving comfortably. We even went for a longer drive over to Southland in Chadstone just to put you in some real-world scenarios. Today on the test it was real enough completing your reverse parallel park exactly as practiced and getting back to the test VicRoads in about 21 minutes. You thought the test would be harder in your brain but with all the experience you've had you made it look pretty easy, and at the end wondering what that stress was actually for. Congratulations Lila! I'm sure you're going to be looking forward to getting around in that new car of yours.
