Skins HK panel van came to us with the owner having already tackled the majority of the rust repairs and completed a number of repairs around the body. Our job was to fill the side windows, tidy up some of the previous repairs, and get the body sealed up ready for the next stage.

got to work fabricating the infill panels, and together with , welded them into place and dressed everything up nicely—a real two-man job. The now windowless van has come up great, with a clean, smooth finish that completely transforms its look. Another solid job by the team.

Plenty happening in the workshop, with Greg’s Fastback Mustang being one of the latest projects on the go. 👌

Barry had already completed a huge amount of work, including the RH drive conversion, new floor, quarter panels, taillight panel and plenty more.

From there, fine-tuned all the panel alignment and gaps before the car was stripped, bare-metalled, epoxied and fully protected inside and out. The engine bay filler work is now complete, primed, and the dash has been welded back in.

Next up we’ll paint the engine bay and dash before Greg fits the running gear, then it’ll return later for the final bodywork and paint. Looking forward to seeing this one come together! 🔥

Super stoked to see all the hard work pay off. The Chev Apache picked up some awesome results at Meguiar's MotorEx — Gold in Bodywork, Silver in Paintwork, Silver in Engineering, and Bronze in Design & Ex*****on.
To top it off, the Apache also took out Best in Class – Street Elite.

Proud to have been part of such an epic build by Robi at Fekete Fabrications and even better to do it for a great client who’s also a great mate.

Here it is, folks, unveiled today at Meguiar's MotorEx this 1958 Chev Apache Uniside has been an absolute pleasure to handle the panel and paint on. An incredible build by Robi Fekete Fabrications bringing together timeless style with modern design touches.

The MSRR crew has put a huge amount of work into this Chev—from repairing rust throughout the body, fitting a big back window kit and wheel tubs, to getting all the panels sitting just right. We’ve painted everything from the chassis and running gear through to the body, along with incorporating numerous custom 3D-printed and CNC-machined parts. It’s the small details and finishing touches that really tie the whole build together.

Ben dropped by on Friday with his XB GT, freshly finished and registered just in time for his wedding the very next day 😬 talk about running it right down to the wire.

The XB has come up an absolute treat — a real credit to everyone involved. Ben mentioned there’s still a few small things to tidy up, but he was stoked to have it on the road for such a special moment.

This one’s got a bit more meaning behind it too. Ben and his dad Brendan started the build together as a father-son project. Sadly, Brendan lost his battle with cancer before getting to see it finished.

No doubt he’d be incredibly proud of Ben for pushing through and getting it done — and having it there for his wedding day.

Last week we had Darren’s HT Monaro in to sort out a small dent and give it a cut and polish.
Hard to believe we originally painted this car 21 years ago.

Darren’s recently freshened it up with a new engine and a full suspension rebuild, and figured after 21 years without a polish… it was probably time 😳

Safe to say it came up an absolute treat after all these years. Darren even still had one of our old business cards on the console.

Great to see Al’s ’36 Ford Tudor gracing the pages of Cruzin Magazine.
We painted it back in 2023 in period-correct Washington Blue, giving it that perfect old-time look.
Great to be involved in such a stunning build, with the kind of attention to detail that’s become a trademark of Al’s cars.

Andrew’s Monaro snuck in the doors just before Christmas, for a “quick” respray, we originally painted the HQ about 8/9 years ago. Andrew had a new complete fibreglass bonnet with reverse cowl and wanted to tidy up a bit of ware n tear around the car. The new bonnet needing extensive work to get to fit and square up the cowl. After all other repairs were carried out the HQ made its way into the booth for a delicious coat of pearl yellow. The whole team chipped in to get the car wet faced and buffed then reassembled in time to deliver before Christmas.

Brendan’s Bronco entered the shop last year to start the restoration. First up it was pulled apart and set up on the rotisserie, media blasted then set about fixing the rust as well as fixing up some previous bad rust repairs around the body and getting the metal into shape, the underside of the body coated in 2K stone guard for a durable finish, and the chassis coated in KBS rust seal before the body was mounted back on. and Kyle fitted an aftermarket front clip and all moulds before the car was torn down again, rust treated and coated in epoxy primer. then took over and completed the filler work. The Bronco is now in high fill primer and waiting to be given a nice candy paint job.
This is the forth car we had the pleasure of restoring for Brendan, while the Bronco is a little different from the Aston Martin, Maserati and a DeTomaso Pantera we have previously done for Brendan I’m sure he will have just as much fun in it with a supercharged 302 in it!
