A handheld tuner plugged into the OBD port can change a few numbers. It can't see what the engine's actually doing.

Dyno tuning is different because it's not guesswork — the car's locked to the hub dyno, under load, while we watch air/fuel ratios, knock, and timing in real time and adjust for exactly what your engine and your mods need. A generic map loaded from a laptop app is built for an "average" car. Yours isn't average — different injectors, different intake, different fuel, different climate all change what the engine wants.

That's the difference between a tune that's safe to actually drive hard and one that's just louder. We won't sell you a plug-in box and call it a tune — the dyno session is the tune.

If you've got a piggyback unit in already and you're not sure it's doing the job properly, bring it in and we'll check it against what the engine's actually running.

Every tune starts the same way — not with a laptop, with a baseline pull.

We run the car as it sits, log everything, and see exactly what it's making before anyone touches a thing. That baseline is the reference point for the entire session.

From there it's small, deliberate changes — fuel, timing, boost where applicable — pull after pull, checking the data every time. Nothing gets pushed further until the last change is confirmed safe.

The last pull is the one that counts: verified numbers, a tune that matches the car in front of us, not a generic map off a shelf.

Same process whether it's a daily or a race car. That's the difference between a tune and a guess.

Kia Stinger Stage 1 — 263.3kW / 353.1hp at the wheels. 🔥

343kW to 390kW. Mercedes C63 S AMG. Stage 2 done right.

4.0L V8 biturbo — already a serious car from the factory. With aftermarket downpipes, cold air filters, and a full custom ECU tune to match, it picked up 46kW at the wheels on the Mainline.

No generic map. Every run dialled in on the dyno until the numbers said so.

Most people throw around "Stage 2" without really knowing what's in it — or whether their tune matches the hardware they're running.

A stage is a level of modification. Each one builds on the last, and every time you change hardware, the tune needs to change with it. Get the order wrong and you're either leaving power on the table or stressing an engine that isn't calibrated for what's been bolted to it.
