This Sunrise Tropicana rolled into the Brisbane Towing Performance Centre last week for a full suspension retrofit.
What makes this upgrade particularly interesting is that this was already a relatively new caravan, factory fitted with airbag suspension and disc brakes — essentially the top-spec offering from the manufacturer.
So why choose a retrofit?
✅ Payload Matters
The original suspension system was mounted in a bolt-in cradle, adding significant weight and reducing the available payload. By upgrading to a Cruisemaster system, the customer was able to optimise the van's setup and reclaim valuable carrying capacity.
✅ More Advanced Air Control
While the van was fitted with an existing air suspension system, it was limited in it's features. The customer wanted the added functionality and capability offered by the Cruisemaster BCS Next Gen Air System, including advanced control and adjustment features.
✅ They Wanted the Best
Sometimes the reason is simple. After doing their research, this customer decided they wanted the performance, capability and confidence that comes with a Cruisemaster suspension system.
