Well I made it to the All British day. All set up Dave and paula are with me so if you’re in the area. Come say hello. Looks like I’m the only reliant here again. And I’m displayed with the Jensons and TVR’s. I’m so excited to meet new people and get my photos taken especially with the kids. As they are amazed by my quirkiness.

Well I’m so excited to say Dave has been a little thoughtful today. He’s double checked all my fluids and even my tyre pressures. He even got a special little gazebo shade that fits in my boot. It’s an ultra compact lol, for an extra compact quirky little car. So fingers crossed I’ll be attending the all British day tomorrow. So feel free to come and say hello and take a selfie with me. Dave will have the ‘does it .. ‘ jar with me so remember if you ask a silly question it’s a donation. Lol. All proceeds go to charity.

Hi it’s me again. So I’ve just come back from my shake down drive around Wynnum and the foreshore. Where Dave pulled over and snapped a couple of pictures of my shine with the water in the background. We got some thumbs up from people and laughed at by others. But we are used to that. I ran perfectly fine and my temperature sat around 1/3 (83deg) Celsius also checked with Dave’s infra red thermometer. We stopped to get some fuel and the man behind the counter asked Dave lots of questions as he’s never seen anything like me before. Well I’m so glad that I all this love showed to me in the last few days. So stay tuned for more adventures to come.
Bye for now

Well I know it’s been a long time since my last post and adventure. As I haven’t been
Behaving like I should. Typical reliant problems. Dave has had me parked up as he suspected I may have a blown/leaking head gasket. As I’ve been drinking my coolant and running poorly. Luckily for me Dave is very understanding and quickly getting used to my quirkiness. After pressure testing and carry out a tee Kay test (used to sniff Cabon monoxide in my cooling system). He found the heater hose at the back of the head leaking. So he dove in and started work. Then he noticed my fuel hose to carby leaking fuel everywhere. Wow how lucky am I. Could have needed badly. Then Dave pulls my distributor out to inspect possible counterweight issues for my advance plate. So he decided new points and condenser time to. And adjust my timing. 8degs btdc im happy with no pinging. And I have power. lol 😂 as much as a robin should have. Then he decides to replace my faded headlights with the new ones I carried in my boot. When I arrived. Then he decided I could do with a nice wash and polish ooh how I feel the 🥰 love. Then Dave decided to fix my interior light and door switches so they work perfectly now. I got my cooling system flushed and refilled with a cleaning agent. Then I felt my rear wheels lift off the shed floor and realised Dave was adjusting my rear brakes now. So I’m getting really excited as Dave keeps talking about getting me ready for the upcoming all British day in Brisbane. Apparently it’s this weekend. I’m so lucky Dave had a few days off and I appreciate him spending it on me. I know he loves me even though I sometimes test his patience.
Anyways gotta sign off now.
Bye for now Robin Downunder.

Hey all sorry I’ve been a little under the weather (lol) Dave unfortunately hasn’t been able to get me out and about to much lately. As the weather here in normally sunny Brisbane has been like the UK rainy and miserable. Dave has told me he doesn’t like to drive me in the rain as I’ve found out personally with a couple of near misses from people driving like lunatics in the rain. So hopefully the weather will improve and we can get out and about to meet more people soon. Don’t forget to Watch this space for updates and as our adventures.
Bye for now Robin.

Well what can I say. I’ve decided to play up a little over the last few days on Dave. He was driving me home from work the other night and stopped at a red light and I decided to start flickering my charge light.then was a steady glow with the headlights on. We made it home and today he had a chance to check me over and find out what the issue was. My alternator wasn’t playing the game. After a few minutes it was 12.2volts. So lucky for me Dave headed to the shed and a few minutes later returned with a near new unit. I heard him say. Lucky I still had the mini in there. lol. So he swapped my alternator over and checked charge rate. Now getting 14.2volts both him and I were happy. So all going well I’ll be heading to my first ever swap meet and 2nd car display day next Sunday. Will keep you all updated.

So after taking a little break anda well earned rest. Dave decided to wake me from my cosy bed in the shed and drive me to his new workplace. Well unfortunately I had a flat battery(even though Dave started me weekly.)except for the past 2 weeks as he and Paula went on a little trip of their own with the caravan. Anyways I got a jump start and coughed into life. Then off to his new workplace. We drove for a while and people waved and stared. Some people pointed and laughed. But we are used to that. We parked outside on the road. And people stopped and started taking pics of me. And looking at my undercarriage. Then on our drive home someone honked at me. Some people almost snapped necks as we drove past. But wow why a fun day. So if you see me out and about come up and say hello. I promise I won’t fall over lol 😂. We both like meeting new people and explaining me.
Gotta go. Remember keep your eyes 👀 out for me.

Well Dave’s hard work paid off we made it to the All BRITISH DAY. What a day I met sooo many people and many made fun of me. But Dave and Paula stood up for me. Lots of kids and some grown ups asked if they could sit in me as they have only seen my type on the tellie. Anyway we all had a blast. Both Dave’s daughters and his granddaughter came for a visit. We all found it funny that they parked me next to the jensons.
