SCCQ held a 4th of July BBQ today to celebrate our American cars at the Vintage and Veteran clubrooms. 11 Studebakers and a couple of brand X turned up along with a couple of dozen occupants. Jim arrived towing a beautiful Dorsett ski boat styled by Raymond Loewy.
Lunch was provided by the club and expertly cooked by Dave Harper.
A good time was had by all in perfect Brisbane winter weather.

7 Studebakers at the QHMC show this morning. Not a great attendance overall as the forecast was for rain. However it turned into a beautiful morning for those who chanced it. Greg made the most of the raffles taking home a number of prizes. The people on the prize table know him well now. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen.

Festival of Wheels hosted by Rods Inc. was held at Boonah today and it was a very successful event.
3 Studebakers and a Thunderbird represented the S.C.C.Q. Our secretary Greg picked up a well deserved top classic trophy with his immaculate Cruiser. It was a good display with plenty of variety and magic Autumn weather.

Depart 55 Salisbury St. Redland Bay at 9.45am travelling via M2 and Warrego Hwy to Falveys Hotel Gatton for birthday lunch. Depart by 3PM to Boonah via Warrego Hwy and Route15. Overnight at Boonah Motel. 19/4/26 Attend Festival of Wheels at Boonah Showground. 3pm returning to 55 Salisbury St Redland Bay.

Over 300 cars at Jimboomba cars and coffee this morning with a great variety of attendees. We had these 2 Studebakers and a Packard. The Packard is for sale, no details but I've posted the number if anyone is interested.
