ICON Queensland | Commercial Shopfront Signage

A different type of project through the workshop, this time completing the shopfront signage for ICON Queensland.

The installation involved applying full-colour printed graphics across the front glass panels, incorporating ICON's branding, sporting imagery and a bold blue, black and white colour scheme.

The graphics were designed to make use of the existing glass frontage, creating a consistent appearance across the individual window and door sections while giving the business greater visibility from outside.

Along with the visual impact, the window graphics provide additional privacy inside without the need for permanent changes to the shopfront.

From vehicle wraps to commercial signage, we apply the same attention to surface preparation, alignment and finishing to every installation.

Tesla Model Y Performance (Ludicrous) | Track Pack PPF & Ceramic Protection

This Tesla Model Y has our Track Pack paint protection film package, ceramic coating, and a tinted windscreen visor strip.

Protection completed:

• Track Pack PPF – Clear paint protection film covering the high-impact areas most exposed to stone chips, road debris and everyday driving damage.

• Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra – Our premium 9-year ceramic coating applied to the remaining painted surfaces, providing long-term protection, enhanced gloss and easier maintenance.

• Windscreen Visor Tint – A tinted strip across the upper windscreen to help reduce glare from direct sunlight.

Combining PPF on the most vulnerable areas with ceramic coating across the remaining paintwork gives the Model Y a practical balance of physical protection and long-term paint preservation.

This Audi SQ7 has been treated with a combination of exterior, interior, and high-wear paint protection to help preserve its condition through everyday use.

Protection completed:

Land Rover Defender 90 | Full Body Paint Protection Film

A complete gloss PPF installation for this Black Defender 90, protecting the factory paintwork without changing its original appearance.

Black paint is particularly unforgiving when it comes to stone chips, fine scratches and general wear, making full-body PPF a worthwhile consideration for long-term ownership.

What's involved in a full-body installation?

• Complete exterior coverage – Bonnet, guards, doors, roof, bumpers and rear sections protected with clear paint protection film.

• Detailed edge finishing – Wherever practical, film is wrapped around panel edges rather than finishing short of them, reducing exposed paintwork and visible film lines.

• Complex panel coverage – The Defender's squared-off guards, recessed sections, hinges and numerous panel transitions require careful film positioning and finishing.

• Self-healing technology – The film's topcoat allows many light surface marks and wash-induced swirls to recover with warmth, helping maintain the gloss finish.

MG IM5 | Level 3 Ceramic Protection Package

This new MG IM5 has recently been through our workshop for our Level 3 Ceramic Protection Package, covering the exterior paintwork, windows and interior.

With the vehicle being new, the focus was on getting everything properly protected from the beginning, making it easier to maintain and helping preserve its condition over the years ahead.

• Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra – Our premium 9-year ceramic coating, applied after paint preparation to provide long-term protection against environmental contamination, chemicals and UV exposure, while maintaining the depth and gloss of the black paintwork.

• SunTek CIR Ceramic Window Tint – Premium ceramic tint designed to reduce solar heat and glare, improve cabin comfort and provide excellent UV protection.

• Gtechniq Interior Protection – Protective treatments applied to the interior surfaces to help reduce staining, minimise everyday wear and make routine cleaning easier.

Mercedes-Benz GLS | Full Colour Change Rewrap

A fresh look for this Mercedes-Benz GLS, recently completed at SD Wraps & Protection.

Previously wrapped in Nardo Grey, the vehicle returned to our workshop for a complete removal of the existing vinyl before being rewrapped in a darker satin charcoal finish.

The process involved carefully stripping the previous wrap, inspecting and preparing the underlying surfaces, and installing the new film across the vehicle.

Particular attention was given to panel edges, recessed areas and complex body contours to achieve a consistent finish with minimal visible joins.

The new satin charcoal complements the factory black exterior trim and wheels, giving the GLS a more refined appearance while retaining its original paintwork underneath.

A complete transformation without the need for permanent paintwork.

BMW M3 Competition | Full Matte PPF

We've recently finished this BMW M3 Competition with a full-body matte paint protection film conversion.

The matte film changes the factory metallic blue to a satin finish while retaining the original colour and providing protection against stone chips, light scratches and everyday road wear.

Every painted exterior panel has been covered, with particular attention to wrapped edges, complex curves and keeping visible film joins to a minimum.

A completely different look for the M3, without permanently altering the factory paint.

Emerald & Sage Studios | Shop Fitout & Signage

Something a little different from our usual vehicle work.

We recently completed a shop fitout for Emerald & Sage Studios, updating the existing salon interior and exterior signage to suit their new branding.

Inside, we resurfaced the existing reception counter and the long salon workbench, replacing the old red and black patterned finish with a black marble architectural vinyl.

The existing cabinetry was still in good condition, so there was no need to pull everything out and start again. By preparing and wrapping the original surfaces, we were able to achieve a completely different appearance while retaining the existing fitout.

We also completed the new external fascia signage, finished in black with gold lettering and detailing to match the studio's new identity.

Projects like this remind us that vinyl wrapping isn't limited to vehicles. You can often refinish existing commercial counters, cabinetry, and other interior surfaces without the expense of replacing them.

There's something about a freshly coated blue car that just hits differently. 👌

This Skoda Fabia came into the workshop for Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra, giving the paint the long-term protection it deserves while bringing out even more depth and gloss in this factory blue finish.

One of the first Tesla Model Y Ls in Brisbane came straight into the workshop this week. 👌

The owner has a road trip planned, so rather than waiting until they get back, we protected the areas that take the biggest hit from stones and road debris first.

✔ Front bumper
✔ Full bonnet
✔ Front guards
✔ Headlights

This gives the front end the protection it needs for the trip, with the rest of the vehicle booked in for full PPF as soon as it's back.

It's a great option if you're taking delivery of a new car and can't leave it with us for a full week straight away. Protect the high-impact areas first, enjoy the car, then come back to complete the rest without exposing the front end to unnecessary damage.

Looking forward to seeing this one back in the workshop soon to finish the full wrap.
