Great to get another Surtees set up and ready to fish! 🎣

Today we fitted an EMD Marine M5025UHD to Reece’s Surtees 5.5 Workmate, ready for a Minn Kota Instinct Quest.

Reece is a veteran and a keen fisho, so it was great having a chat and getting his boat sorted for plenty more days on the water.

Thanks for your service, Reece, and thanks for trusting EMD Marine with your setup 🇦🇺

Hope the new setup gets you onto some absolute crackers out at Cape Moreton! 🤙🎣

Another clean install done! 👌

Stephen brought his 2010 Quintrex 530 Escape down from the Sunshine Coast for a Lowrance Recon 72” install using our M5534HD bolt-on bracket.

The M5534HD matched the Quintrex gunnel nicely and gave the Recon a strong, solid mounting platform — no welding required.

Really happy with how this one turned out, and most importantly, Stephen was very happy with the result too.

Thanks for making the trip down and choosing EMD Marine, Stephen. Enjoy the new setup and tight lines! 🎣

Today we fitted an EMD M5534HD bracket to John’s Quintrex 510 Sea Spirit, matched with his Minn Kota auto stow/deploy trolling motor.

This motor is not the Quest brushless series, so the M5534HD was a great fit for this setup.

John was stoked with the result and even shared a few of his secret fishing marks with us, along with some great tips on using grinner for snapper.

Thanks again, John. Hope you keep landing big fish every trip!

Fastest install record so far!

Dave fitted the EMD M5025 bracket to his 2006 Bar Crusher 530C in just 1 hour.

Top work, Dave — clean, quick and solid.

No Welding Needed! QUINTREX 430 Trolling Motor Bracket Install

Big thanks to Neil for sharing the video and photos of his install.

Neil is a highly skilled carpenter and fitted our M5534BF bracket to his QUINTREX 430 Fishabout. He’s absolutely stoked with the setup and has already recommended the bracket to a few of his mates.

Thanks again, Neil, hope you keep landing plenty of big fish!

One small note, mate: the trolling motor is sitting a little far outboard. Mounting it slightly closer to the centreline of the boat would be even better.

Overall though, it’s a fantastic install and a great example of how clean and solid the M5534BF setup can be on a small aluminium boat.
