Based in Mount Barker, The Dirt has built a strong reputation as one of South Australia’s leading off road camping specialists. I’d guess for the best part of today through to lunchtime this track lived up to the infamy of being a β€œtight” track with plenty of trees and shrubs hugging us. 3 or 4 stops to clear underneath and radiators from spinifex grass and seeds.
After Midway Well and Windmill the country opened up, though corrugations were ever present. But at places a comfortable 40 odd kmh was not unreasonable. Tomorrow onto the Canning Stock Route" - Ken Martin 😍
