🔧➡️🧘 We spend our days keeping your cars running at their best… so every now and then it’s only fair we give our own bodies a service too! 😄

At Techworkz Automotive, we believe our people are our greatest asset. That’s why our technicians, service advisors and management team swapped spanners for reformers and headed to Greenway for a team Pilates session.

It was a fantastic afternoon full of laughs, a few shaky legs, and a great reminder that looking after ourselves is just as important as looking after our customers.

Healthy, happy staff make for a stronger team, and we’re proud to invest in the wellbeing of the people who look after your vehicles every day.

A huge thank you to the team at 247 Reformer Pilates for putting us through our paces—we’ll definitely be feeling it tomorrow! 💪😂

2023 BRZ Turbo 🐌💙

This week we completed our first turbo kit installation on the second-generation BRZ/GR86 platform.

This BRZ received the Techworkz spec SME G30-660 turbo kit, paired with the complete SME 2.75” exhaust system, our proven BRZ fuel system package, and an SME oil cooler kit.

The results speak for themselves:
💥 292 kW & 438 Nm at the wheels on E85
⛽ 228 kW & 368 Nm at the wheels on 98

The difference these upgrades make is incredible, transforming the FA24 into an absolute weapon while maintaining excellent drivability.

The FA24 platform is proving to be extremely capable, and we’re excited to continue to modify and explore what these engines are capable of! 💪🔥

Lance & Stu will be down competing in the CoolDrive RALLY Team Subaru and one of our dedicated long term service crew Adam is starting his rally journey in a bug eye STI in the regularity rally! Come down and check out and support the rally, if you’re interested in helping out reach out to the north shore team to volunteer! Damien’s BRZ ❤️

This week we had Damien’s 2024 BRZ in for some maintenance and upgrades 💪

It’s a common issue on the second-generation BRZ/86 that from factory, excessive silicone is used during assembly. Over time, this excess can break away and become lodged in the oil pickup — something we always recommend addressing early.

Damien brought his BRZ in for a sump removal, oil pickup clean, and a Tomei sump baffle install to keep things safe and reliable 🔧

While it was in, we took the opportunity to step things up…

We fitted 4-2-1 race headers, paired with their 2.75” overpipe, front pipe, and catback system — giving the car an absolutely unreal note 🎶🔥

To tie it all together, we completed a custom dyno tune, unlocking improved power, torque, and overall drivability 📈
