Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT will host its vital annual Race Day luncheon this Friday, 26 June, raising money for its life-changing programs.

The event at Thoroughbred Park is amongst the most important days on the Pegasus calendar and helps fund equine-based, therapeutic programs for Canberrans living with a range of disabilities, offering physical, emotional and social benefits that extend well beyond the saddle.

Mary Lishomwa, a Canberra mother whose daughter Abigail is a Pegasus participant discovered the program through the disability community, at a time when Abigail had few social outlets available to her.

This Friday is SOILCO | Corkhill Bros Pegasus Charity Race Day 🐎

Enjoy a Friday afternoon with us as we celebrate the wonderful work that do for our community.

The Socceroos take on Paraguay at 12pm ⚽ we will have the game on screens across the racecourse but please note racing audio will take preference in the Winning Post Bar, Owners and Trainers Lounge & Black Opal Room. We will have the game on with audio on loud in the Historical Area / Administration Foyer.

Entry into the racecourse is free from 11:30am and we're racing from 12:35pm 🤗
