Toyota Hilux 2.8L Diesel | 1GD Engine

Another Toyota Hilux in for its scheduled service at B.I.B Mechanical.

During our inspection, we found the DPF fifth injector filter was dirty and required replacement.

Unlike many standard service items, there is no specific replacement interval listed in the logbook for this filter. This is why thorough inspections during routine servicing are important to identify items that may require attention.

VW CADDY 1.6L DIESEL – COOLANT & OIL LEAKS!

This VW Caddy came into B.I.B Mechanical with a couple of issues that needed attention!

What did we find?
* A broken coolant pipe
* A leaking oil cooler and oil filter housing

With coolant and oil leaks, it’s important to get the problem diagnosed and repaired before a small issue turns into a much bigger (and more expensive!) headache.

Our team got stuck into it, stripping things down to access the faulty components and get to the root of the problem.

This one definitely caught my eye!

Had this gorgeous Mustang in the workshop and I just had to take a few photos of it.

That purple is soooo nice in person. It changes in the light and honestly looks even better than the photos show.

I’m not usually one to get too excited over a car 😂 but this one is pretty hard not to love.

The whole thing just works — the colour, wheels, bonnet and that big wing.

Definitely a head-turner! 💜.

❌ Incorrect or poor-quality parts can cause further damage
❌ We can’t warranty a repair using a part we haven’t sourced ourselves

We know parts can sometimes look the same, but when it comes to your car, cheap isn’t always cheap in the long run.
