Valley full of oil & knock sensors drowning in oil which usually isn’t an issue but when the water proof seal is missing from both of them the oil is going to cause issues , I’ll give her a compression test once the valley is cleaned up & the new Dorman alloy assembly is fitted up 👌

And it just gets better 😭cooler has just started to weep oil into the cooling system so she be gettin a full flush before new assembly & re-assembly happens , luckily it’s so fresh and there is minimal contamination 🤟

I’d be angry to if I was treated like this 😳😳near every fastener & bolt has been swapped out with god knows what , left loose or over tightened which now means I have to try and repair the plastic points that have been stripped out , I knew I should have stayed away from this one just by looking at it 🤣🤣FML oh well let’s see if we can bring it back to life 🤟

When you gotta work by feel because there is zero chance of seeing what you are doing & no room to move you bring out the little guys for the win 👌🤣I have a thumb wheel driver but can’t find it at the moment as it’s too fu***ng to small in this new box 🤣🤣

If ya know ya know , threads bound up removing the EGR to Bypass tube so I’m chasin threads on one hole , the other came out fine , fingers crossed this works or the EGR has to come off & bench fixed 😡FML

Old versus New , prepped and ready to fit, alloy thermostat housing & 88c stat fitted along with alloy bypass tube , EGR is next 👌

One looked after WK in for some preventative maintenance, all custom piping marked for easy reassembly after she gets a new Oil Filter/Cooler Assembly, alloy Bypass tube , alloy EGR , and Silicon hoses around with a service & coolant flush 👌

Next up is stage 3 - immunotherapy starts tomorrow so we will be closed for the next 2 days - will reopen on Monday 19th October depending on how the head mechanic is feeling - if you call leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can !
