This Hino tipper is heading north to Sci-Fleet Hino and is set to become their new standard build moving forward.

While it's a straightforward setup, it's packed with practical features including a UES toolbox, rope rail, handwash station, custom extended headboard and a Razor electric tarp from Camilleri Tarps.

It's also the first build we've fitted with this higher hoist configuration. Early feedback has been positive and we're looking forward to seeing how it performs in the field.

The custom extended headboard not only creates a cleaner look by matching the height of the cab, but also provides additional protection from rocks and debris when on the job.

A simple, functional build designed to get to work from day one.

Ever wondered how a flat sheet of steel becomes part of a finished truck body?

This is our Durma AD-S 30175 CNC Press Brake, one of the key machines in our Dandenong South workshop. With 175 tonnes of bending force, it allows us to accurately fold and form steel components used throughout our builds.

From tipper door sections and hoist panels to chassis components and custom fabricated parts, this machine helps us manufacture critical components in-house, giving us greater control over quality, consistency and lead times.

It's another example of the investment we've made in equipment and capability to ensure every AA Diesel build is engineered, manufactured and finished to the highest standard.

How much can I customise my build?

The short answer is, quite a lot.

At AA Diesel Truck Bodies, every build is designed to suit how the truck will actually be used. That means everything from body size and layout through to tailgates, hydraulics, lighting, access and finishing touches can be tailored to your requirements.

We work closely with each customer to understand what they need from their setup and recommend options that will add real value on site and on the road.

Another one ready to hit the yard.

This Hino tipper body has been built for Sci-Fleet Hino, featuring a 4800mm body with 1000mm high sides and a clean, practical setup that's ready to go straight to work.

Finished in classic white paint matched to the cab and fitted with a black Razor electric tarp from Camilleri Tarps, this build is a great example of a straightforward, reliable setup done properly.

Not every build needs all the bells and whistles. Sometimes it's about delivering a quality truck body that looks the part, performs day in and day out, and is ready for work from the moment it leaves the yard.

At AA Diesel Truck Bodies, every part of the process is carefully considered, from structural components through to finishing touches. It’s what ensures each build not only performs on site but also presents well on the road.

Ready to go and heading out soon.

This white Mercedes tipper for Select Trucks is just about wrapped up and will be hitting the yard shortly. Built in-house at our Dandenong South workshop, it’s a clean, practical setup designed to perform from day one.

Fitted with 450 grade wear plate walls and floor, this one is built for serious durability. Hydraulics are in, body is fully operational and the paint has been matched to the cab for a clean, consistent finish.

It’s also been set up for dog trailer work, with a full towing package including J4 certified Landy Tow coupling, ABS and trailer supply. On top of that, it features a camera protection cover, making it easier to monitor loads on site without leaving the cab.

Final touches and it’s ready to roll.

No two jobs are the same, so no two builds should be either.

At AA Diesel Truck Bodies, every setup starts with understanding how the truck will actually be used day to day. What it’s carrying, where it’s going and what makes the job easier for the operator.

That’s what drives the design. From body size and layout through to features and finishing touches, everything is built to suit the job, not forced into a standard template.

The result is a setup that works the way it should from day one and continues to deliver over the long term.

Another one ready to roll out.

This Kenworth tipper build has been completed for one of our long-time customers, CTR Truck Sales, and is heading out to a special customer.

Built on a shorter wheelbase, this setup features a 4400mm body with 1100mm high sides, keeping it compact while still delivering the performance needed on site. The angled top rails have been added to help reduce dirt build-up and keep the body cleaner over time.

It also includes a custom in-house battery box and a full towing setup with Bartlett ball, trailer supply and ABS, making it ready to get straight to work.

Final touches like stainless guards and chrome will be added by the owner, and once it’s all finished off, you’ll be sure to spot this rig out on the road.
