🤢 Would you breathe through this?

This is why changing your cabin air filter matters! 🍂 A dirty filter can affect airflow, cooling and the air inside your car.

🚗 When was yours last changed?

Just a quick 30-second mash-up of some of the cars and jobs that have come through the workshop 🔧🚗

Things are running really smoothly at Gooses Autos at the moment. With an extra mechanic on board, we’re getting through the jobs quicker, which means more cars back on the road and a few more spots opening up in the workshop.
We have also created extra parking spots allowing us to park waiting cars in our backyard to keep the work flowing and parking a little easier for everyone.

We’ve still got plenty happening, but there’s always room for a few more jobs! 😎

Servicing, repairs, diagnostics, engines, all general mechanical work — if your car needs some attention, flick us a message or call the shop on 97948051.

🔧 ANOTHER BIG ONE NEARLY FINISHED! 🔧

We’ve been tackling something a little different at Gooses Autos, Dandenong — a 2026 Mazda CX-80 3.3L petrol inline 6 in for an engine replacement.

Being a new-generation vehicle, this one came with its challenges. It’s fitted with Mazda’s 48V mild-hybrid system, along with plenty of new technology, modules and programming.

Before taking the job on, we made sure we had the correct training, equipment and procedures to safely disconnect and reconnect the 48V system, as well as the information required for programming and relearning the vehicle after the engine replacement.

It’s not something we do every day, but that’s what we enjoy about being an independent workshop — we’re always learning and taking on new challenges.

The engine is now in and we’re down to the final stages:
✅ A/C regas
✅ Wheel alignment
✅ Fluid top-ups
✅ Final programming, relearns and checks

All going well, this one should be heading back to its owner mid next week.

A big thank you to the Gooses Autos team for the extra hours, research and effort that went into getting this one across the line. 👌

With 30+ years in business and 200+ years of combined experience, we’re proud to have a team that combines plenty of old-school experience with young blood and modern technology.

Another job done, another challenge ticked off. 🔧

Huge congratulations to our mechanic Daniel on officially becoming fully qualified! 🔧🎉
It’s been a long road with plenty of ups and downs along the way, but he stuck at it, regained the motivation to finish what he started, and has now completed his apprenticeship.
That kind of determination and persistence deserves a lot of respect. 👏
This is also a massive milestone for Gooses Autos, as our workshop is now made up entirely of fully qualified mechanics — something we’re extremely proud of.
Well done mate, well earned and great to see you finally get there. 🍻
