Nissan Y62 Patrol Maxx Performance Custom Multi Map Dyno Tune
With long distance touring in mind his 2016 Y62 Patrol came into Maxx Performance for a custom ECUTek Multi Map dyno tune.
Arriving already fitted with an exhaust we fitted a K&N high flow reusable panel air filter to complement the tune and help the engine breathe.
Mods now include:
- Aftermarket exhaust ( std headers )
- K&N high flow panel air filter
- Maxx Performance Custom ECUTek Multi Map engine tune ( including no start map )
With the upgrades already completed we bolted the Patrol up to our Mainline Hub Dyno and got to work developing a custom calibration for both the engine and transmission.

Now with noticeable improvements in response, torque, drivability and efficiency throughout the rev range.
Although transmission tuning is not available for the earlier 2016 model there are some refinements we can do on the engine side of things that help with transmission behavior.
The ECUTek Multi Map setup also gives the owner the flexibility of multiple selectable maps including a no start map all controlled via the factory steering wheel controls!
