Our reports can be used to check your weights against Vin plates on your vehicle/trailer to make sure you are travelling safe and legally compliant. Weighforward can also provide certificates with Tare weights for the customer to supply the Registrar for trailer registration purposes.

Yesterday Weigh Forward had a run on motorhomes in Burnie and Devonport.

Several weighed and 2x coming in under weight. The Iveco Sunliner had a 4495kg GVM on a NP1 car licence and the Swagman Signature a 7000kg GVM on a NP2 licence... both motorhomes in the photos below were 100% compliant.

Today Friday 17/7/26 we start the day in Turners Beach with a family heading off for a winter school holiday camping trip.

Another Crusader caravan weighed by Weigh Forward.

This beautiful caravan was owned by a client of ours we weighed some time ago. A change of van and being very happy with our previous service was the reason they returned for another weighing session. Understanding the importance of caravan and trailer weights is #1
The new Crusaders are quality caravans however we are seeing very heavy front wheel sets compared to rears. Bearing and tyre wear is one important factor however getting the correct hitch weight is a very serious concern. Talk to the experts and be confident your caravan or trailer is towing correctly.

Tasmanian owned and operated Weigh Forward is coming to your area.
Be very mindful you are receiving the correct weights you require. Weigh bridges do not give side weights... an accurate ball weight or individual axle weights. Many vehicle weighers Australia wide are not giving a loaded rear axle weight of the vehicle with the caravan or trailer attached. Make sure you ask the questions and get what you truly need. 8x calibrated pads and correct heights is a must if weighing vehicles and trailers when connected.

The rain is certainly about however Weigh Forward operates everyday.. Rain.. hail or sunshine we have you covered. You don't get wet with us... Your professional report is presented in our mobile office with the heater on.
Today we braved the cold conditions for part of the day then we were spoilt in a workshop for some educational weighing sessions.

Thanks to our East Coast clients weighed over the weekend.

Travelling to the Sunny East Coast is like a mini holiday for Weigh Forward.

This trip we chose Orford, Swansea and Coles Bay. Caravan's to stunning boats Weighforward weighs it all. Braked Towing Capicity is something we must be reminded of when towing big trailers.
