I always look forward to this Sunday. The kids are off school on Saturday and Sunday, but we can't always spend the time with them, because of our market shedules. We usually come home in the afternoon, tired and exhausted from the market. So, when this Sunday comes, and there's no market for us, the kids are always so happy, and so am I.

Today, we started the day super chill. We woke up but didn't want to get out of bed... you know that kind of mood. I made lemon, ginger, and honey tea around 8 am. for all of us. Then, an hour later, we had some hot food and listened to music while we ate to lift our spirits and get a live music and food vibe going. Then my daughter played guitar for a bit.

After that, we decided to go for a walk. We were just a stone's throw from our house when we heard a car stop in front of our house. We thought someone needed honey. I went back and helped them out. We enjoyed nearly an hour and a half of walking, silly talking, and laughing. The beautiful Paperbark and Blue Gum are still in full bloom. The bees must be super busy.

Now we're going to watch a movie and eat lunch at the same time. While the kids are picking out what to watch, I'm writing this post. No business work for me today. I think I deserve a day off. It's hard to get free time with my busy schedule, so whenever I do, I want to spend it wisely.

You might be wondering who I am. Our regular customers are quite familiar with me. My name is Sushama, and I am a very down-to-earth and straightforward person. I am a mother, wife, beekeeper, business owner, friend, daughter, and sister, among many other roles I embrace.

I truly enjoy being myself. In this business, my primary focus is always on maintaining quality, and customer satisfaction is my utmost priority. I consistently choose quality over quantity. All of your support helps me to improve and inspires me to fulfill my various roles effectively. There is much more to me than this brief introduction, and you will discover it as you become one of our regular patrons. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

🐝 Happy World Bee Day 🐝

Today is a day to celebrate the tiny heroes of our planet. Bees are small but mighty. Bees pollinate one third of the food we eat and keep our environment thriving. We feel honoured to care for these incredible little workers everyday.

But this year is bit different. Right now bees need our help more than ever. Bees are now facing one of their biggest threats - the Varroa Mite. This tiny parasite is threatening bee populations and putting huge pressure on beekeepers and the entire honey industry.

But your support gives us hope. Because of YOU, we are still able to keep going. Every jar you buy makes a real difference and helps keep the bees buzzing. It allows us to keep protecting our beehives and continue producing NATURAL, CHEMICAL-FREE honey, the way it should be.

Choosing chemical free beekeeping is not the easiest path. It takes more time, more effort and constant care. It means long days, extra hive checks, and a lot of hands-on-work to keep our bees healthy naturally. We believe our bees and our customers - deserve honey as pure and natural as possible. So we continue to follow this path with love and dedication every day. Thank you for supporting our bees.

In our language, "Maa" is the term for Mother. It is a concise word, yet profoundly impactful, wouldn't you agree? "Maa" embodies numerous sacrifices, boundless love, extensive dedication, unwavering selflessness, nurturing, and a kind soul. When we begin to speak of her, it often feels like an unending story, doesn't it?

I did not publish a post to extend Mother's Day greetings to everyone. Please accept my apologies for this oversight. Rest assured, I did not forget you. I decided to allow everyone to enjoy the day, and planned to inquire about your day tomorrow. I am confident it was filled with happiness, affection, and laughter.

I extend my sincere gratitude to all mothers for their exceptional dedication to their children, families, and communities. I humbly request that every mother, who consistently prioritizes the well-being of others, also dedicate some time to their own self-care. May every mother in the world always remain healthy and live a fulfilling life.

My day unfolded much like any other. I enjoyed time with my two children. One of our child is currently away for his studies. I found myself missing him quite a bit yesterday, though I chose not to express those feelings directly. I believe that if I appear vulnerable, it might make him feel more so, and that is something I wish to avoid. It is important for me to remain strong and encouraging. All in all, it was a delightful and pleasant day. Ultimately, the specific manner in which we celebrate special occasions is less important than the feeling of contentment and lightness in our hearts at the end of the day, in my perspective.
