Before you tip a trailer, look up. Branches, carport roofs and power lines are easy to miss when you're watching the load.
Three habits make every tip safer:
- Tip on firm, level ground. A raised deck on a slope can become unstable as the load moves.
- Check above the trailer before you press the button.
- Stand clear of the deck while it rises and comes back down.
The Variant 2717 T3 tips itself to 45 degrees on an electric hydraulic pump. You run it from a corded remote, so you can stand back and watch the load slide out instead of shovelling it.
Deck 3.20 x 1.68 m inside, 1,948 kg payload, 2,700 kg ATM, 2 axles with brakes, galvanised steel floor and aluminium sides that open on all four sides.
