We had a good friend reach out for some help getting his drag car running after converting blower setups, we took on a full re-hose of the engine breathers, coolant lines and fuel lines with -12 -10 and -8 250 series PTFE Aeroflow braided lines and full flow fittings, we worked into the night for him to hear his car breathe fire for the first time in 5 years, next on the list is a re-wire and updated dash maybe even some extra cool sh*t🤘

We are back! After some time off with the family we are back into the swing of things!
To start our second year in business off we had a Hilux that pulled left when brakes were applied!
I’ve seen it in videos, never in person though!

Yet another job we wouldn’t usually take on but it was an experience to say the least!

A good friend of ours had a bad screen in his BA XR8’s ICC unit, this progressed to the unit shutting down completley taking out the radio and the air conditioning

After some research I took the job on to see what’s going on in the entertainment assembly

And did we find some stuff! Dry (cracked) solders on every speaker output, power, earth and ignition input allong with communication lines and the rest, the customer had also supplied a new screen which we fitted as well, a bit of soldering (on every joint of the entire circuit board) and some time later and it is back up and running the way it looked from factory! 🤘🤘

We see some strange things on some call outs 🤣 removing a good fuse can allow the vehicle to run (in tank fuel pump or circuit failure) further diagnosis and hopefully repair tomorrow! 👌

Although we don't specialise in carby work, we are no strangers to them and always jump at the chance to work on race cars and street machines!

The 650 double pumper petrol brawler carby has been sitting on a friends Ford Ranchero for a year or so without running and had gummed up not allowing throttle pump sq**rt actuation

The 950 double pumper alcohol APD had suffered much of the same neglect but was in a much worse state

A few hours of cleaning scrubbing compressed air and determination had both carbies completey re-kitted and back ready for their respective duties 🤘

As the APD is for a burnout car we have modified the linkage to have the secondaries open with the primaries for better high RPM throttle control and more consistant air/fuel mixtures

Good luck to Stockas burnouts Mat Storer and to Kayden Wagstaff in “KANPEGHER” (formerly BLACK DOG) in Mackay this weekend, both of these vehicles have had a full competition spec rewire with battery relocation by us allong with some love from other sponsors, good luck boys! Get some trophies!!🏆
