Don't miss out! The Commonwealth-funded free Keys2Drive lesson is being discontinued at the end of this month. Registrations for the lesson close on 17 March.

This free one-hour lesson provides learners and their parents/supervisors with the skills and knowledge to achieve a solid foundation in learning to drive, and the tools to stay safe on the road. I am an accredited Keys2Drive Instructor, with both manual and automatic cars, and I can do the lesson with you once you've registered at https://keys2drive.com.au/learners/create.

If you'd like more information, you can PM me or call me on 0421 027 350.

Your supervising driver MUST attend the free Keys2drive lesson with you. This is normally a parent or guardian (i.e. NOT your driving instructor).

The Keys2drive program will be finishing soon.

After 14 years, the last day to make use of the free driving session funded by the Commonwealth government will be 31st March 2023.
If you have registered with Keys2drive, please contact Jacky asap as availability is limited before the closure date - https://www.daltondrive.com.au/contact

Don't let a bit of rain stop you from gaining experience on our roads.

Brake earlier, accelerate easier and double the gap you leave between the cars you're travelling behind.

Give yourself and others around you the extra time and space to react.

What a nice start to the weekend.
A lovely review from a student who passed their driving test this week. 😁

★★★★★ "While it did take me a while to pass my driving test, there is little to no doubt that I would not have passed without the help of Dean Ashley at the Dalton Driving school. Excellent guidance provided, useful techniques learned and overall just a really chill guy, I am beyond satisf...

Well, it truly is a happy start to the New Year with my students picking up where they left off at the end of 2022.
A first-time pass in Corrimal today and some great test preparation lessons for others who will sit their tests in a couple of weeks.
I can help you prepare for your tests - manual and automatic - around the testing routes at the Service NSW centres in Miranda, Engadine, Corrimal and Warrawong.
Call me on 0421027350 or PM me. 😁

What a perfect way to wrap up for Christmas! 2 of my students sat their driving tests today and passed first go. They left it to the last test day of the year but got the job done like a boss. 💪
One of them gave me an unexpected Chrissy pressie and they hadn't even passed yet. I'm glad we finished off our time together with a win.
I hope you all have a great Christmas, and I'll see you around soon. 🚗

DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH NIGHT HOURS?

A learner driver under the age of 25 years is required to log a minimum of 20 night hours of driving, and these hours begin from the officially listed sunset time or before sunrise.
In summer, with daylight savings, official sunset may be after 8pm.

Please double check your log book and make sure you have enough legitimate night driving logged, otherwise you will not be able to take your driving test.

Any queries about your log book contact us - daltondrive.com.au

I'm parking up the instructor cars and swapping to 2 wheels for a mini break to Thredbo and Jindabyne.
It's also a great opportunity to take my beloved Toyota Hiace for a long overdue spin. 😁
I'll see you all out on the road next week.
