We’re feeling generous - the first follower to tell us what manufacturer and model variant we’re working on today gets a $50 fuel voucher.

Obviously $50 wouldn’t tickle the fuel tank on this bad boy but it might help one of you.

This particular booking is slightly challenging as it presented with primer overspray on our initial bump-in assessment.

Unfortunately it came down from QLD before coming to Tassie where it was obvious the paint had etched overspray on it.

When it landed in our detailing studio and in consultation with both the client and his dealership it was agreed on an extensive restoration effort to the paintwork prior to undergoing a suite of new vehicle protection.

Once rectified this vehicle will undergo a top to tail ceramic coating using IGL Coatings Australia’s own Arcane ceramic coating as well as PPF to the most prone areas using Vael PPF by BushWrapz.

When “just a headlight restore” turns into a team-building exercise.

This 2003 Audi TT Coupe rolled in looking innocent enough… until we realised Audi had other plans for us.

To properly restore these headlights, it wasn’t a quick sand-and-polish job, oh no! We had to remove the headlights completely, which meant pulling apart half the front end like we were auditioning for an American car restoration tv show.

The overall effort included;

* Finding all the clips and bolts hidden in Narnia�
* Bolt removal that require double-jointed wrists�
* Vocabulary use our English teachers would be proud of
* A solid team huddle

But hey, we don’t cut corners. If it needs to come apart to do it properly, that’s exactly what we do.

Results?

* Crystal clear headlights�
* Safer night driving�
* Another German engineering puzzle solved

Big shout out to the team for sticking it out on this one, definitely earned their company sponsored pizza that day :)
