Dillon is celebrating 9 years with the Tony White Group! We asked him a few questions about how it all started and what’s kept him here over the years.

What made you decide to join the business 9 years ago?
-Just stumbled upon it by pure chance and thought why not go for it, 9 years later pretty good choice

Can you remember your first day? What was it like?
-Going from working in a factory to sales was bit of a shock to the nervous system on the first day!

What do you love most about your role?
-What I really enjoy with the role is everyday has the potential to be different, meeting new people and being around a pretty cool product.

How has your role changed over the past 9 years?
-The role hasnt really changed all that much but to be able to work with multiple brands over the years and now with GWM has been pretty exciting.

What do you enjoy most about helping customers?
-Being able to be involved in helping people make a pretty big decision and help find them the right vehicle is pretty humbling and something I have enjoyed.

🎉 CELEBRATING 6 YEARS | RACH

Rach is celebrating 6 years with the Tony White Group! From starting in the BDC to now taking on her next step as a BM for the group, she’s had quite the journey over the past six years!

We asked Rach a few questions about how it all started and what’s kept her here.

What made you decide to join the business 6 years ago?
-Honestly - We had moved down from Sydney earlier in the year, Covid hit, I had a 12-month-old and I knew I couldn't go back to my old career at that stage (Event Management) - My Hubby was working for another dealership in the group and he heard that the BDC needed staff and told me and so I applied.

Can you remember your first day? What was it like?
-Can't really remember except that I was like... I know NOTHING about the car industry BUT I knew that I meshed well with the team leader & manager at the time of the interview so I knew it would be ok.

What was your role when you first started?
-BDC Consultant (in the call centre we used to have).

How has your role changed over the past 6 years?
-I did a few varied roles in the BDC as I moved into full time. After a year or so I became a joint Team Leader for the BDC, to then being (single role) Team Leader when the other leader went on to pursue other things. I then did a dual role in Marketing for a bit (was a natural transition for me being in marketing/events back in Sydney). BDC Team then got dissolved/restructured so I managed that transition with the remaining team members, where I was lucky enough to get a position with the BMW Service team. To now, where I have taken the next step and am a BM for the group.

What do you love most about working here?
-The team and wanting to work together in knowing that we can help others get into their dream car.

What makes the team so special?
-The people. We all have different backgrounds, where we have come from, experiences, goals and each person can bring something different to the day.

What’s kept you here for 6 years? ❤️
-I am a big believer in TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK 😜
