Quick video of Barra PNP and BTR driving, I really need a cameraman. Nothing exciting, just a few revs and gear changes. This has had no tuning other than the short and long term fuel trims.
No VCT tuning either.
Dash is on of my 7" displays running of the ECU Can bus.

Im investing more into the Barra PNP project, Just bought a BF XR6 with the ZF6 for a test mule for the next stage.
So ill start on the ZF6 transmission controller.

Ill make the new mainboard for the BF/ZF6 pinout hopefully done soon.

Huge day for me today, Im releasing the Ford Falcon BARRA Plug and Play ECU.
This version is for BA only (BF and FG to follow), It also includes the BTR Gearbox controller.
Unplug the old ecu and plug this in, no wiring changes required.
The ECU is Full Live tuning, VE Fuel maps, Timing Maps, VCT maps, Boost control, Flex Fuel input, Full data logging and exposes the Can Bus for Can Bus I/O, Dashes, Can Button Pads etc.
I underestimated the time it takes to produce one of these, The first production model has taken me 10+ hours to fully assemble everything. I will get faster as time goes on.
I still haveto write the User manual.

BARRA PNP is DONE. My final thing i had to sort was the VCT and it's now functioning as it should.
Barra PNP #1 is now permanently installed.
This has been a long project with only limited time to work on it.
I'm happy with how its all gone together and have ironed out most settings, But if you decide to purchase please understand there may be some hurdles along the way, This stuff come easy for me, someone will less experience may not have as smooth journey installing, But my help is always there.
So if you are little less patient maybe hang on a little longer and see how others have gotten on.
There will be a couple that will go live on the shop Monday, I will be doing assemble over the weekend.

Just finished fixing the Barra test mule, New Hubs, Discs,Calipers,Pads,Hoses. Old calipers where locking on and where stuck to the disc. Spend a few hours on the TCM, Seems to be working fine. Lots of tunability for the automatic logic.
Last job is the VCT, trying to dial in the PID's, I can get about 10 degrees then goes full 100% so may need a little more tweaking of the hardware also, not 100% sure, could also be the car itself at 310,000 km worn out, Might also need a oil change.
Planning release at the end of the month.
Also first prototype of the CAN BUS gear indicator test.

Received the Barra Dongle for the Barra ECU, this unit will collect data from the OEM ECU over the CAN BUS for the ICC/Radio, Instrument Cluster and BCM and will be able to unlock these with the New PNP ECU.
Couple of screenshots of the TCU tuner. Tunable Shift points, Shift Pressures and Engine/shift protections for the Automatic Logic, The Manual mode is still Manual but the Solenoid Pressures can still be changed.

Barra PNP #1 officially installed today (Somehow I've killed the factory ECU).
So now some real driving time getting it all dialed in.
It's very colourful at night (not planned).
I thought i could get away with the 2 front bolt holes but i think i'll add the rear one too.
