🚗 L plates? Check.
🔑 Keys? Check.
🪪 Learner licence? Check.

Queensland learners need to carry their licence when driving.
Make it part of your routine before every lesson so you’re never halfway down the road wondering where you
left it. 😅

One little compliment and suddenly the confidence level is through the roof. 😂

Learning to drive comes with plenty of corrections, so when your instructor says you nailed something, you remember it.

What was the first driving skill you were genuinely proud of getting right? 👇

Did You Know? Your QLD logbook must be approved before you take your practical driving test. You can book your test before approval, but if your logbook has not been approved by test day, you will be turned away. 📋🚗

Approval can take up to 14 business days, so submit your logbook early and plan ahead.

Roundabouts feel much easier when you stop thinking “give way to the right” and remember the actual Queensland rule: give way to every vehicle already on the roundabout. 🚘

Before entering, slow down, follow the lane arrows and choose a safe gap. Signal left for a left turn, signal right then left for a right turn, and signal left before you exit when going straight. ✅

Save this guide for your next practice drive, then work through roundabouts
with an Ace instructor until the steps feel natural.

Passing the test is an exciting milestone, but safe driving keeps developing long after test day.

The habits you build while learning, like observation, patience, planning and making safe decisions, are the ones you will carry onto the road every day.
