Immediate start. Fibreglass experience highly regarded but not essential.
We are looking for a fibreglasser/multi-skilled tradesperson to assist in the manufacture of FRP panels and fibreglass products.
We're looking for a capable, versatile tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys practical challenges and has the experience to turn their hand to a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and schedules, accurately measuring and setting out works.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workshop.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and components.
- Assisting the fibreglass team with general duties when required.
- Supporting the handling and movement of components through the production process.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work.
- Can follow instructions and work safely.
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Is organised, practical and willing to learn new skills.
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude.
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- A current forklift license.
- Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in fibreglass procedures and safety.
