Todays classic radiator build was for an LC 6 cylinder Torana which was in dire need of a recore.Rather than a generic import radiator the customer preferred a rebuild of the original item. After totally dismantling the radiator I prepared the radiator tanks/straps,reassembled them to their Aussie made bespoke radiator core, pressure tested and then repainted it. Its now looks the part and is good to go!!!!

Todays challenge was to sort out a 1999 Jeep Cherokee with a coolant leak.Upon inspection it became obvious someone had fitted a budget online sourced alloy radiator to the vehicle which had failed. So it was out with that rubbish and replace it with a quality copper/brass radiator assembly. The moral being that in my experience rusty old cast iron engines and alloy radiators are destined for failure

A couple of shockers in the workshop today,a 4500 petrol powered Nissan GU Patrol and an old 1984 SV11 Camry. Both were suffering severe overheating.Upon flow testing them the cause became obvious as both radiators were extremely blocked.I supplied and fitted a new Patrol radiator and as the Camry is now an obsolete item I carefully dismantled, rodded the radiator core and reassembled the Camry radiator. Both done and out the door!!!!
