Roy’s already acting like he’s got next season sorted… meanwhile the rest of us still need to get our memberships done 😂

If you’re planning on being part of Kingaroy Speedway for the 2026/27 season, now’s the time to get it sorted.

You need to be a financial club member before you can:
🏁 vote at the AGM
🏁 nominate for committee roles
🏁 renew your Speedway Australia licence
🏁 register your car for next season

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved with the club, now is the time.

Nominations are now open for positions at our Annual General Meeting, to be held on Wednesday 9th of July at 6:00pm in the Machinery Shed at Kingaroy Speedway.

Nomination period:
Open now from 10th of June at 8:00am
Close 1st of July at 5:00pm

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Sub-committee roles

A reminder that you must be a financial club member for the 2026/27 season if you want to nominate for a role or vote at the AGM. No exceptions will be given.

🏁 THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVENTS EVER TO HIT KINGAROY SPEEDWAY 🏁

The PWR TFH Sprintcar Power Tour has officially announced a massive $336,000 total bounty across the tour, and we are proud to be one of the venues hosting it.

That means on Wednesday 6th of January 2027, some of the best Sprintcar teams in the country — and potentially from around the world — will be heading to Kingaroy Speedway as part of this huge tour.

This is not just another race meeting.

Presented by Corbets Group and GK's RV this is one of the biggest events ever to come to Kingaroy Speedway, and a massive opportunity for our club, our town and our supporters to be part of something special.

With the Power Tour sitting in the middle of a huge summer of Sprintcar racing, there is already enormous appeal for teams to run the full stretch — and that only adds to the excitement of what could roll through the gates at Kingaroy.

To be part of a tour of this scale, alongside venues like Western Sydney, Toowoomba, Mildura, Bordertown and Warrnambool, is something we are incredibly excited about.

From everyone at Kingaroy Speedway Club, we extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Pam Franz.

Pam was an incredible woman who gave so much to speedway over many decades, and she also helped our club immensely over the years.

Her contribution to the sport at every level, and the support she gave to so many clubs and people along the way, will not be forgotten.

Pam will be sorely missed across the speedway community.

Our thoughts are with Pam’s family and all those close to her at this difficult time.

🥜 OFF SEASON CHECK-IN WITH ROY 🥜

We might be a bit quieter on here while the off season rolls on, but don’t worry — there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes as we get things ready for next season.

Roy, however, seems to think the off season means doing absolutely nothing, popping up at random times, and acting like “supervising” counts as hard work 😂

So Roy wants to know…

Our End of Season Presentation Dinner is getting closer, and it’s set to be a great way to finish off the year with the people who made the season what it was.

Come along and join us on Saturday 20th of June at the Kingaroy Bowls Club for a night of catching up, celebrating the season, and handing out the presentations.
